Night Out S/S 23
Inspired by the current dopamine dressing trend, this collection is my perspective on the bright colors and bold silhouettes projected for S/S 23. Garments are solid colored in a deep black and bright hot pink with organza and satin. The contrasting colors and textures suggest the joy we have returning to a post-pandemic life.

I used bold colors to spark joy and silhouettes that have movement because I want the wearer to be taken back to their childhood excitement of wearing formal clothes that were flowy and fun to move in. The movement in these silhouettes offered by this collection aims to break preconceived notions of formal wear being seen as boring and stiff.

Throughout the process of designing this collection, I thought about what women would feel excited to wear to high-end events. I wanted this collection to represent the excitement and anticipation of returning to a life where we can be surrounded by people and attend events with the people we care about.
