Crisp & Green

crisp and green outfit

Crisp & Green saw my holiday display at the Foshay Tower and they reached out to me and asked me to create a look for them that reflected their brand and was made using their paper bags.

I was really inspired by "The Cool Girl," This girl is someone who keeps up with the latest TikTok trend, drinks iced coffee year round, cares about sustainability, and most importantly loves to eat at Crisp & Green. I wanted to play with patchwork and this idea that this was something thrifted and pieced together to create a unique look.

I did not have much time to complete this project so I kept it simple by making a short A-line mini skirt and vest. The vest was originally designed to be a cropped blazer with a laced closure. Paper is not the most flexible material and it would have been impossible to put on if I added sleeves (even if they were made out of fabric).
