Taylor Boothe

This was a project I did for The W Minneapolis at the Foshay Tower. I was tasked to design an unconventional holiday themed dress for the hotel's main entrance.

I was inspired by the beauty of the Nutcracker and how, for many, seeing the show is a yearly tradition. I wanted to capture the essence of a winter landscape and the beauty of the costumes from the show. The skirt is made from artificial tree branches and metal wreath frames, and the bodice is made from an emerald green voile.
