Athleisure Wear A/W 23/24
For this class project, we were tasked to design a knit collection that was suitable for mass production and utilized multiple colorways. The goal of this project was to select one product to bring through the technical design process. I devised a pattern in Optitex, created a Bill of Materials for that sample, created a graded Points of Measure chart, and speced my sample garment.
Inspired by the current minimalistic trend, this collection is my perspective of eco-conscious lounge wear projected for A/W 23/24. Garments are solid colored in muted shades of: brown, mauve, dusty violet, and basalt blue to mimic shades found in nature. Solid colored garments with style lines makes these designs easily match other clothes already in the owner’s closet which helps to keep them relevant long after they are purchased.
